Campus Safety transported a student to the Wellness Center for an illness.

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm activated by a student cooking in a room.  

11:40 a.m. | Fire Alarm | Denbigh 

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm, unknown cause. Facilities was notified. 

4:47 p.m. | Harassment By Communication | Campus Safety 

Campus Safety spoke with a student regarding online harassment. Investigation ongoing.

Campus Safety responded to speak to a BMC staff member and student regarding concerns over a possible incident off campus.

Campus Safety responded for a “supervisory” alarm, unknown cause. Facilities notified.

Campus Safety responded for a “supervisory” alarm, unknown cause. Facilities notified.

Campus Safety responded for a smoke alarm, unknown cause. Facilities notified.

Campus Safety observed fire alarm strobes activated, cause undetermined. Facilities notified. 

10:20 p.m. | Suspicious Odor | Rhoads 

Campus Safety responded for a report of cigarette smoke. Students were located outside of the dorm and advised that smoking was not permitted near the building.    

Saturday, September 28 

1:59 a.m. | Alcohol/Medical | Transport Merion Lot 

A student was transported by ambulance to the hospital for evaluation after visiting an establishment in the city. 

3:25 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Pem East 

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm activation, unknown cause. Facilities was notified. 

4:08 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Pem East 

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm activation, unknown cause. Facilities was notified. 

Sunday, September 29 

4:30 a.m. | Fire Alarm | Pem West 

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm activation, unknown cause. Facilities was notified. 

9:40 a.m. | Medical Transport | Erdman 

Campus Safety transported a student to the hospital at their request for an illness. 

3:35 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Pem West 

Campus Safety responded for a fire alarm activation, unknown cause. Facilities was notified. 

7:46 p.m. | Check Well Being | New Dorm 

Campus Safety responded for a report of a student screaming and stomping in a room. The student was located and stated that they were fine and did not require assistance. 

9:50 p.m. | Check Well Being | Brecon 

Campus Safety responded at the request of a student to check on a friend and former student who was visiting out of concern for depression and possible self-harm. The former student stated that they were fine and refused to identify themselves. Appropriate offices notified.   

There were no other significant incidents to report.
