When Melissa Green Katrincic '97 was highlighted in the Alumnae Bulletin back in the winter of 2017, the  she and husband Lee own and operate had already racked up a slew of honors and had started making a name for itself well outside their North Carolina base.

Durham Distillery continues to expand. In addition to their signature gins and other spirits, the company now sells ready-to-drink canned cocktails. It will soon be opening itsbar in downtown Durham, and recently received an investment from Constellation Brands Ventures’  program.
