I want to thank my thesis advisors ůůֱ²¥ Julien Suaudeau and ůůֱ²¥ Mark Lord for their guidance, not only throughout these two projects, but over my four years at ůůֱ²¥ as well. I would also like to extend a special thank you to ůůֱ²¥ Catharine Slusar, ůůֱ²¥ Maiko Matsushima, and ůůֱ²¥ Penny Armstrong for encouraging me to push myself both academically and artistically and for helping me overcome many challenges.
