Food Comics Workshop
Craft Delicious Stories with Sam Nakahira!
Sam Nakahira, a comic artist and illustrator from Los Angeles, is leading a food comics workshop. By combining words and images in sequence, participants will learn to create visual narratives around food. Participants can draw from diverse topics, such as community memories, family recipes, local farms, history, nostalgia, taste, and more. The workshop consists of a short presentation around sequential storytelling and Sam's comics-making process, a collaborative group comic on food in Haverford and ůůֱ²¥, and time to work independently on a minicomic with instructor feedback.
