We are pleased to announce that Danielle Smiley (Math) has successfully defended her doctoral dissertation "Estimates on Oscillatory Singular Integral Operators". Danielle's work directly expands upon the work of ůůֱ²¥ Rachel C. Hale ůůֱ²¥ Leslie Cheng and colleagues Hussain Al-Qassem and Yibaio Pan - by which she alters the phase function of their operator to include a non-polynomial term. Her work shows that the new operator is able to be bounded with logarithmic behavior over the real n-dimensional Hardy Space H^1. Danielle's dissertation advisor is ůůֱ²¥ Leslie Cheng.
Congratulations Danielle!
