Lindsay Dever (Math) in Pittsburgh for the Automorphic Forms Conference

ůůֱ²¥ Mathematicians John Bergdall (Assistant ůůֱ²¥), Lindsay Dever (Graduate Student), and Djordje Milićević (Associate ůůֱ²¥) attended the at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. The conference was held from March 6-10, 2019. Milićević was a co-organizer of the workshop.

John Bergdall, Assistant ůůֱ²¥ of Mathematics, gave his talk  His talk presented ongoing research into p-adic families, a group of theoretical mathematical families whose existence have recently been challenged, despite predictions of their existence through numerical experimentation in the 1990's. Bergdall's talk discussed recent theoretical attempts to salvage what remains of a debunked theory.
